Congrats if true, Azmin Ali is expected that the new Selangor MB


Petaling Jaya:  Sources close to the deputy president of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Azmin Ali confirmed that he will be appointed as the new Chief Minister of Selangor.

"Inshaallah. The official announcement will be made in the near future, "the source said on Monday when asked about the appointment of new ministers.

James is expected to take the oath at the Istana Alam Shah at 10am on Tuesday and will hold his first press conference as chief minister after the ceremony.

It is understood that James was met with PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, who is the party's sole candidate to fill the hot seat.



Castle is expected to make an official announcement on Monday, but the appointment letter will be sent.

Over the past few weeks, PKR adamant to nominate Wan Azizah as the only candidate for the position even though the Palace asking for more than two names of candidates for consideration.

It is understood that the Sultan had decided after "interviewing" James, Assemblywoman Chempaka, Iskandar Samad and Assemblywoman Sijangkang, Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi separately.

Iskandar and Dr Ahmad Yunus from PAS, and both are also a state executive council.

However, James is a Sultan after the interview he took a longer time than two other candidates for the post of chief minister agreed PAS in the state-owned PKR.
