Mumbai: Former child movie stars Bollywood, Shweta Prasad was arrested in a police raid after getting involved in prostitution.
Shweta, 23, admitted making the wrong choices in life to become a prostitute.
He was arrested in Hyderabad on Sunday, and was also arrested in the same raid is a businessman in Mumbai.
Shweta became famous after the lead actress in the film Makdee published in 2002 at the age of 11 years. In the film, Shweta become children who are caught by the witch.
He also won the actress award for best children's film.
Shweta was arrested in Hyderabad on Sunday. In his statement to police, he admitted to being a prostitute after being offered the film to cause it ran out of money.
"It was the wrong choice made for money. This is due to the difficulty to continue my life without money.
"When there are people who encouraged me to become a prostitute, I do it for the money. There are many women who are struggling actor in the film industry and become a prostitute, '"he said.
Police, however, Shweta described as victims and was sent to the convalescent home.
In the same time the individual has to make Shweta mengekspoitasinya as prostitutes were also arrested.
Shweta previously also starred in several films including Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki.
