MB supports PBSNT boycott matches JDT vs Terengganu



The state government fully supports the decision of the Football Association of Terengganu (PBSNT) boycott Cup quarter-final second Malaysia with Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) in Johor Bahru on 17 October.
Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman said he has given a full mandate to PBSNT to make the decision if the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) insists on not changing the original date of the match on Saturday.

If PBSNT abide by the decision of the FAM, the state government will provide 2,000 free tickets and 50 buses to support the team Terengganu .



"This is the commitment of the government," he said.

FAM has delayed the match at Stadium Larkin, Johor Baharu, at the request of JDT.
Tomorrow, FAM is expected to hold meetings with representatives of the two sides to discuss issues postponement date.

In the first quarter-finals at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium here on Friday, the two teams were tied goalless draw.
