Klang: A lorry driver was detained by police after being caught stealing money belonging to a bank in Kapar, here, yesterday.
In the incident at about 11.30 pm, the 37-year-old suspect was arrested after stealing a bag containing money amounting RM189,240.
According to the North Klang district police chief ACP Mohamad Shukor Sulong, before the incident, the bag containing the money was accidentally left the security company responsible for managing the money before the suspect was found.
"When the suspect to the bank to make a transaction before terjmpa bags and hide it to the back of the machine deposits involved.
"Further investigations revealed that the suspect had spent 30,000 of the money,"
