Man killed by Electronic Cigarette Pen Gun @ her explode (4 photos)
Kuala Lumpur: The police investigation found that the death of a man in Bintulu, Sarawak, yesterday, was from his pen gun exploded suddenly.
Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, when confirmed, said the weapons were indeed found in the overseas market and it believes it is smuggled through the streets of the mice in the border states.
"If guns are brought in through the entrance of the existing state, it can be detected by examining the scanner.
"In fact, all members of the care and control checkpoints have knowledge about various types of firearms, including gun-shaped pen," he said in a press conference at the Bukit Aman police headquarters here today.
In that incident, a 43-year-old man died at the scene after a bullet from the gun pen suddenly explode right on her heart.
Khalid further said, weapons represent an offense and it is punishable under the Firearms Act 1960.
"We also do not rule out the possibility of these weapons brought into the country illegally and modified according to their own rules. However, people are advised not to panic or worry because the police will continue to monitor this case the smuggling of weapons," he said.
